Top of the heap would be the Creator of the Universe, Who is probably a sexless entity light-years beyond our feeble understanding. That’s what the universe and everything in it is part of, in the estimation of some: the Father of traditional faiths, including Christianity.

We’re not working, either, at the level of Hollywood (or Bollywood) “sex goddesses” … movie stars of incredible human beauty, but human all the same. But we’re close.

I suspect that most of us are thinking in the area of the pagan goddesses of classical Greece and Rome (and elsewhere, but let’s not get too detailed). Powerful, able to command nature to a degree, but subject to human emotions and frailties. And, of course, with huge appetites for pleasure of many kinds, as well as super-perfect in the human pattern: wise, beautiful, smart and strong.

The ideal Mistress (or Goddess, in this sense) is all these things, within a world (your home) where everyone (Her loving sub mate) believes that She is a Goddess. That is, he obeys Her, he worships Her, he suffers for Her, and so on. In that world, She has all the power — that is, makes all the decisions, gives all the orders — and Her subjects, Her creatures, pray to Her for mercy and thank Her for what gifts She pleases to bestow on them.

Yes, we draw a line around this world, and inside it is a fantasy — as seen from outside the castle. Reality inside, however, is that She is the Goddess of that tiny universe, pure and simple. (That line delineates space, but may also establish time: the inside world may not necessarily exist 24/7.)

If the couple are really into their lifestsyle, then the world outside the castle is a fantasy. As somebody once said, “reality of for people who can’t handle a good fantasy.”

(I say “couple,” but of course, that, too, is a flexible term.)
