Absolutely ,if you are submissive then you are submissive no half hearted mealy livered attempts at being in a D/s relationship then why bother if a man is not prepared to bow and kneel in front of his Mistress Wife/Girlfriend then what sort of submissive is he,no time for P/T subs that to me is a complete fail and cannot see why any respectable Dominant Women would have anything to do with them ,and indeed why stop at kneeling bow down low and kiss Her divine feet fool!

Nope, only in a play setting when I require good vision of his behind for spanking or when he is pinning the hems of my trousers. (I am serious on this.)
I don't like him kneel for anything else. He is my sub, but he is also my life partner and his submissiveness is shown in many different ways. To kneel in our relationship would not signify anything in a d/s sense.

Yes, most certainly! Men should be visibly submissive to the Women in their life! It doesn't need to be bowing or kneeling although that has its place; rather, showing some common courtesies, deferring to one's Wife, politely responding to Her, and so on are all ways that this can work.

In our case Nancy insists on taking a visible lead and on my showing my deference to Her. In social settings i am always by Her side and attentive to Her needs, getting Her a drink, lighting a cigarette, responding politely yo Her and so on. At home and in family gatherings Nancy expects more and we have stronger signs of deference. Little but significant things like a slight bow to Her and my always addressing Her and Her Mother as "Ma-am". Signs of deference are always appropriate since they remind the couple of their respective roles.
