Yes everything needed is out there on the net, the trouble is finding it. There is even more misinformation and fantasy out there. It is really hard for a beginner or an wanna-be to see the difference between reality and fantasy.
There are some good books, course etc for sale. But like with anything relating to this lifestyle determining what is good and useful is really hard. Balancing what it says is really important. A book like "How to make your wife the instant dominant of your dream" - I don't think so. "Couple guidance into d/s" could be a better bet (I have no idea if these titles exist BTW).
So I think the eluding into buying is not a good way either. Every person prefers to take information in, in a different way. We must allow for that. There is no one true way to live d/s or BDSM, nor is there one true way of getting and receiving the information that is right for every person.

I personally do agree with the description about what a good submissive man is. But that is what I prefer in a submissive man. However this also depends on the dominant in the relationship. There too question is all about balance, and what partners wants and what their outlook on the relationship is.
