I’d guess that you are right: most dominant women are indeed looking for friendship in addition to obedience. I’ve noticed that most dominant women tend to be the elder of their siblings (Generally, most cases- certainly not all dominant women.)
Their whole life they have not only had to take care of their younger sister/brother, but also control their behavior. I’m a younger brother. A proper, typical younger brother. I don’t enjoy the presence of my elder brother but I can see how I’d be completeeetely INSANE without the dude! And every woman I’ve ever loved in my life is an elder sibling . Simultaneously dominant and controlling. That’s what I need.
So I guess dominant women are control freaks but they’re friends who know what’s best for you better than yourself(they think )

I totally agree with the author. Matri-fascism might be a dream but its not a realistic dream. My wife is quite clear that she wants to lead our marriage but she loves me for being a man who she can respect and with out that we would not have a marriage. Without a marriage or loving relationship neither party gets the majority of their needs satisfied. The only relationship that could come remotely come close to a complete dictatorship relationship could occur in your place of work where your boss does not require you to supply anything more that obedience but I have never found a boss like that.
