I remember this fun song from the 80′s. The Coconuts put on a great live show as well. The singer is glad he’s not Endicott, but he shouldn’t knock it till he’s served Tribena for awhile–he might find it’s more than worth it in the long run
I loved this one too. The sexy Coconuts (female backup singers) would scold the lead singer with the “Why can’t you be like Endicott?” line. And as Wes58 mentioned, their live shows were great, very sensual and energetic.
An earlier tune of theirs was called “Mr Softee” in which the Coconuts chided the singer for his umm… deficiencies.
