Head of Household (HoH): many relationships including marriage, dating and civil partnership require that one member assume a dominant role, takes charge. This merely reflects that one person – in our case – the female is more assertive, competent or confident (than the male).

I agree. In my house I am the Hea of the household and we both recognize it and if anyone asks we say so. I work he stays home, I oay the bills, I make all the final decisions, and although I take into account his pont of views, we both know that my word is the word whcih will be final. When we married I kept my own name but we are now looking into changing his name to mine so we can happily be Woman and Husband.
We have the same arrangement except for the name change.
I, too, agree. My wife is Head of the Household. She controls the check book and the calendar. She makes the list and plans of chores. She wears the pants, I wear the panties.

I did take the test and got confused at the investment and names part.
There was no option where it involves investment parts that each partner decides over their own account. – This is what we have. The joint accounts is a different matter but that is not used for investment. As for the name part there was no option that the choice is the couples completely or a mix. For instance I use my name professionally and his socially for personal reasons that have nothing to do with any should.
The word should to me was the turn off. I do not wish to put my ideas forward as right for all, which is implied using the word should.
So I ended up moving away from the test as I found it too much geared towards having to fit a mold and I don’t like fitting any mold except my own.
