A Mistress has total authority but there are times in a relationship, such as medical emergencies, where one must take responsibility and show leadership because of the urgency of a situation or the special skills a person can use. One can always apologies later if the behavior is inappropriate but to wait for permission in extreme or special circumstances is fraught with peril.
