Some years back fashion photographers started staging scenes that implied a F/m power exchange relationship between the female and male models. Some of those editorials are actually beautiful and appealing. The female domination is implicit.

On Femdom Artists I’ve been assembling illustrations that a viewer with appropriately inclined imagination can see male submission, female dominance and sadism.

They vary considerably in quality and tone. Some are funny (or silly if you insist). Many of the early 20th century images are quite lovely. And – important to some of you – romantic.

There have been times when fashion photographers have toyed around with an impersonal kinkiness. I think the photos reproduced below are more affecting, more touching if you will than the usual sort that are thought to imply or hint at female domination and male submission.
